Wearing minimal makeup during the summer ☀️

When the weather heats up I tend to less make- up.  I will only wear foundation -my go to is Guerlain Météorites Baby Glow in #2  –  to a “special “ event ie – wedding , maybe dinner out with friends.  

Most days I only wear sunscreen – a must have – I use Clarins UV 50+ for my face –  and then some cover up if needed, eyeliner,and maybe mascara.  That’s it, some days I’ll add a bronzer, Guerlain Terracotta in Light

 I just find the less I wear the better for my skin.  My go too products this season  is Diorshow  Proliner Waterproof  which will not move all day even in high humidity, my colour of choice is blue -258.  I even have a Clarins Bronze eyeliner that I will wear in the evening if we are going out, just gives a glow under the eyes.  My mascara is Diorshow- although it isn’t waterproof I find that it doesn’t move or smudge.  I’m loving the blue shades this year … 😆 I’ll even add a waterproof stick eyeshadow – Diorshow cooling stick in light pink -003. It actually is cooling on the eyelids when applied, I do wish I bought at least one other colour.  I will add lipstick – this season I have 2 colours that I’m in love with Guerlain #62 and Lancôme liquid lip colour in the colour Unique , which I was gifted by the fabulous @davelackie a few weeks ago.  

My go to fragrance this summer is Daliah Divin Eau Initiale Eau de Toilette by Givenchy, which I got in my gift bag when I won a seat at the @cityline  twitter party back in April, again hosted by the wonderful, generous @davelackie.  This fragrance is such a great summer scent – top notes are magnolia, middle note is sambac jasmine, with the base notes of musk.  Absolutely love how fresh this scent is, not to mention the bottle design – white is gold.
