Hello Lovelies,
I am a few days late but this is what happens while on a Safari in Africa where wi-fi is intermittent and you loose all track of time.
2017 has gone by so quickly with many adventures. I was fortunate to visit many places this year, Munich, Prague, Banff, Calgary, Rome, Dallas and Halifax.
I have taken up my old hobby of knitting as well as learning photography. I vowed last year to learn how to use my DSLR camera on settings other than P or Auto. I’m happy to say that I’m getting much better at manual shooting. My goal this year is to learn night photography and how to edit my pictures with Lightroom. I’m also shooting in raw a lot more often.
My biggest “up” this past year was starting this blog/journal. I don’t write as much as I’d like to but time isn’t always on my side. I still have a lot to learn about the blogging world and welcome any advice that comes my way.
I am welcoming 2018 in South Africa 🇿🇦 with my family and friends. It is summer here so very hot, but we did get a few days of rain which is quite unexpected for December, as we’ve been told. I’m looking forward to sharing my amazing African Safari with all of you, stay tuned.
