This year I decided to spoil myself and splurge on a Beauty Advent Calendar from the The Bay – which is an iconic Canadian Department Store. Every year I try and get the kids different types of advent calendars that aren’t chocolate.
Last year the Beauty Advent Calendars sold out super fast at The Bay – I kept watch on their webpage to try and snag one this year. However, as soon as I saw in early November it was already sold out on line – I mean really -how could this be. I happened to be shopping in early November at one of their larger stores which is in Yorkdale mall and saw 3 of them. I could barley contain my excitement, I bought one for $225 Cdn plus tax and made my son carry it through the mall as we continued shopping.
I had to hide the calendar as I was afraid I was going to peek and see what what was inside. Here is what I have gotten so far:
Dec 1 – Clinique full size All About Eyes eye cream ( retails at- $47 Cnd), take the day off eyemakup remover 30ml , mascara travel size and Clarifying do-over peel 5ml
Dec 2 – Versace Bright Crystal EDT Fragrance 10ml (retails $38 Cdn) – Versace Eros EDT 5ml
Dec 3 – Derm Institure Youth Alchemy eye cream 3ml
Dec 4 – Nars blush colour Orgasam X 2.5 grams – Nars Climax mascara travel size
Dec 5 – Kiels Claendula Herbal Extract Toner 40ml , Kiels Avocado Nourishing Hydratrion Mask 10 g
Dec 6 -Si Passione EDP 15 ml , Giorgio Armani Eye tint chrome Gold Foil 3 ml
Dec 7 -Lancome Absolue 5ml revitalizing eye cream, Absolue Rich cream 5 ml
Dec 8 – Cartier La Panthere EDP 10ml fragrance
Dec. 9 – Rodial brightening Cleansing Pads – 50 pads (retails $74 Can), Rodial XXLmascara full size ( retails $29 Cdn)
Dec 10 – Clarins Moisture Rich Body Lotion 100 ml (retail $39.00 Cdn), Clarions extra firming energy Day cream 15ml
Dec. 11 – Carolina Herrera Very Good Girl fragrance 7 ml, YSL pure shots night reboot serum 7ml
Dec. 12 – Mac Stack mascara full size (retail $39 Cdn), Mac matte Mehr Lipstick (retail $27 Cdn)
Today was Day 13 – Foreo Imagination DIY Mask Base (retail $41.90 Cdn), and 3 blissy silk hair ties (retail $49 Cdn)
So far I’m very happy with this Advent Calendar, the full size items I have received add up to approximately $345 Cdn – so many new products to try and so many travel sizes to take on trips.
