I was lucky to get picked by @chickadvisor to try 2 Vichy products, Neovadiol and Neovadiol Nuit, #gotitfree. As part of the product review club, you randomly get picked to try different products for campaigns. I was so happy to be picked for this Vichy campaign, as it’s only my 2nd campaign since joining in the fall of 2016. I haven’t used Vichy products in a very long time and am super excited to try these creams.
I began using my new day and night creams straight away. These creams are made with women who are of menopausal age. As we age our skin becomes drier and looses elasticity, as a result , lines and wrinkles.
Neovadiol Day Compensating Complex –
This cream is formulated for menopausal skin – it helps to re-hydrate and re-plump the skin and re-vitalizes mature skin. The cream is for normal, dry, and combination skin types. I always switch to an oil- free moisturizer when the summer arrives. So I didn’t know what to expect from this cream. It’s heavier than I normally would use, I was very surprised when I first put some on my skin. The cream spreads easily, instantly I felt my skin was more hydrated, not greasy. From the first day I started (about 4 weeks now) to use the day cream my skin felt better, looked better and my fine lines were less visible. Clearly I have been using the wrong cream for all these years. The featured ingredient in Neovadiol is hyaluronic acid (which can hold 1,000 times its weight in water) which helps to plump and hydrate the skin. Another featured ingredient is Pro-Xylane – which helps reduce the visible signs of pre-mature aging. The smell is not unpleasant, a bit medicinal. Cost for a 50 ml jar is $55.00, very reasonable for a really good skin care cream.
Neovadiol Night Compensating Complex –
The first thing I noticed with the Neovadiol Night Compensation Complex was that it was a gel cream. I really like the texture and it has a very refreshing scent to it. This is an anti- aging cream that hydrates and relaxes the skin while you sleep. The night cream works on 4 signs of menopausal skin, sagging, dryness, loss of structure (especially around the jaw) and loss of density (skin becomes thinner as we age). I found since using the night cream, my skin is more hydrated, more firm and and lines are less visible, I have a deep wrinkle between my eyebrows and this wrinkle is far less visible than before. I am very pleased with the result of this cream so far and am excited to see how my skin feels/look when the jar is finished. The cost for the 50 ml jar is $55.00, again very reasonable for a quality night cream.
