On Friday February 10th, I had the pleasure of having breakfast at The Colette Grand Cafe and Bakery in Toronto. I was invited to the breakfast by Dave Lackie for the launch of Chloe Love Story Eau Sensuelle. The rooms set up was spectacular and so beautifully decorated with flowers and the fragrance bottle arranged everywhere.
The breakfast menu was a choice of either Buttermilk pancakes with blueberries, chantilly cream and maple syrup or eggs benedict, on a croissant, ham hollandaise sauce and potatoes. So hard to choose, yum to both of them…. but sadly i could only pick one. I chose the eggs benedict as i don’t normally have or make them. I was not disappointed with my choice. Dessert followed with fruit and brownies and a butter tart. Yum again…..
Dave spoke next and introduced Diane Sonneberg. I loved hearing the story about the fragrance and brand Chloe. Chloe stands for quality and ultra chic femininity. Chloe is the fastest growing fragrances in the past 3 years with the core customer being the young woman. Chloe uses a high quality of ingredients to make their fragrances. The ingredients which stand out in Chloe Eau Sensuelle is orange blossom, along with heliotrope (which is a purple flower) which, gives the fragrance a sensual scent.
Next we heard about The Pont Des Arts, which is a meeting place for lovers. Thousands of pad locks are attached to this famous bridge as a symbol of love. Each year the pad locks are removed so that the bridge doesn’t collapse and new pad locks keep appearing.
The shape of the Chloe Eau Sensuelle is that of a pad lock, which signifies eternal love. We received a wonderful gift bag to take with us, a Chloe fragrance 50ml Love Story Eue Sensuelle , a notepad with a book mark shaped in the Chloe bottle, macaroons and a tin of Sloane Orange Blossom Oolong tea.
It was such an honour to be part of this special event. I learned so much about the fragrance and met some wonderful people.
