This past Wednesday I was picked to participate in @thekit Holiday Market Place at The Haute Spot at Bayview Village, Toronto, I was thrilled to find out I had been one of 100 people picked to test some of the hottest products that will be on the store shelves this holiday season.
I got there a few minutes early so I walked around the mall until it was time to go inside. I walked in, and gave my name to the girl at the front, I then walked over to the next counter and got a clip board with booklets of questions for each company that was there. As I went from display to display, listening to was being said about each product, I answered the questions that corresponded to each booth of products. I gave my honest options of each product.
The company’s that were at the Haute Spot were: Paige (jeans, blouses, velvet pants), Alex and Ani (christmas bracelets, necklaces, earrings, tree ornaments), shoes by Cole Haan (the 2.zero grand shoes for men), Sam Edelman (I liked the Haroldson pointed heel in a crushed velvet finish with the cutest pom poms) and Vince Camuto (the Daisi shoe is super sexy), Sugarfina candy (new flavours such as reindeer nose) and Indigo gifts (fur throw, candle, mug, hat, scarf, mittens, reading socks, books) There were so many great products it was hard to choose which ones I liked best. After finishing filling out all my reviews I received a lovely bag with some products inside as a thank you. I know what I’m going to put on my Christmas list this year, I really liked a blouse by Paige – the Celeste and some new bracelets and necklaces by Alex and Ani.
